My partner's guild went on a camping trip this last weekend, and I was invited as his plus one! So of course when they went on a nine-mile hike I stayed back with a few other non-hiking campers and had a mini photoshoot! Usually I set up my tripod and take my own pictures but one of the campers, Bartlebee, is a gem and offered to take my pictures which was a nice change and extra fun! This is my Hynafol character Saturnina. She's a Satyr fae and IMO, very fashionable! The horns and ears are a new upgrade to the garb. The coat, corset, and shirt I made for the "Grand Gathering" last year. The skirt is one I made a few years ago and modified specifically for this character.

Recently played dress-up with a few friends at a local park. The park was gorgeous and had these little ponds? creeks? small bodies of water. So it was a great spot to get some fantasy shots in our renfaire garb even though our neighborhood fair has ended.

Another successful Hynafol weekend! The weather was story accurate, the costumes were warm, and the games were well played!! It was a perfect weekend for sure

Working on some matching outfits for an event. The deadline is around the corner, but I'm almost done. I've made a mistake on his tabard that's not fixable unless I start it over, but it's also not noticeable or structural. So I'm going to say fuck it and move on.

Finishing work includes his clasps or buttons down the front and extra grommets on the side. A bolero with cape sleeves for me.

I haven't posted in a while, and I mostly forgot to do so. A lot happened last year, and I'm not going to recount all of it, but a lot of memories were made, and an equal amount of costumes!

Today is my other half's birthday!!! My partner in crime, my support, the brains of the operation, the best person to take to a con with you! Seriously, thanks to @supermassiveburrito I've been able to achieve above and beyond where I started with my cosplay life.
