Yknow what, seriously, good for Renfield.

He's like the one-man equivalent of those people that used to do the trade-up challenges. Modern influencers trade from a paper clip to a house.

Renfield is having fun trading up the food chain. Flies, Spiders, and now Swallows.

Dr. Forehead should really be grateful, he's getting a singularly unique experience to study first hand.

Renfield is just out here doing his thing, working on his craft projects, feeding his pets, unbothered. I'll bet each of the spiders had charming, pun-based names.

Im only halfway through the show but I headcanon that for renfields birthday one year, the kids bought him a dress. Back when they were little babies and weren't as cruel. He deserves it
