This was not just #MetropolitanAME family graduation but a celebration of #WomenofExcellence in ministry. I was delighted to see one of my all-time favorite preachers & #AME elders Dr. #RenitaWeems delivering Do You Know What Time It Is?, a powerful, transparent, edges-snatching keynote address, acknowledging the funeral of the gifted #theologian Dr #JamesCone, while calling this new class of prophets to rise up and be the #spiritual leaders the world needs at this moment. This Class of 2018 was the very 1st graduating class under the leadership of Dr. #YolandaPierce, the 1st woman in history appointed Dean of #HowardUniversity School of #Divinity.
