ooooo renoto. i heard the lycoris anni is soon so,, 

–

“Do you wanna get out of here?” Ren says. 

Otoya rips his attention away from the practice stage performance they’re watching. “Huh? What do you mean?”

“I mean, let’s ditch this place and do something fun.”

Otoya considers for a moment as he watches from backstage. They’re all supposed to be polishing up their line deliveries for Lycoris no Mori, but technically Otoya and Ren are done. Otoya is one of the leads, but they’re only going through the first half. It’s ending off today with Masato, Tokiya, and Cecil, so neither of them really have to be there still. And, if he’s being honest, Otoya is getting a bit tired of practice; it’d be more fun with an actual audience, anyway.

“Okay…let’s go!” he decides, letting Ren take his hand. 

They leave through the back door before anyone notices, and Ren whips out his keys. He opens the passenger door for Otoya– which does not make him blush a little bit, thank you– before going ahead and hopping in himself. Otoya watches as he quickly ties up his hair in a loose bun before starting the car. 

“Are you hungry, Ikki?”

“Hungry?”

...

Ren ends up taking them out for crepes, much to Otoya’s excitement. They get the same toppings– strawberries and bananas with nutella. The shop is unsurprisingly busy for it being around lunch time, so they take their food to the nearby park with them. 

It’s nearly vacant, being way too early for kids to be out of school. Normally, the playful, screaming kids wouldn’t bother Otoya too much, but it is nice to be able to enjoy their food in peace. He leans against Ren on the bench, using his fork to eat a particularly big strawberry slice. Once he swallows, he feels Ren move.

“Ikki,” he says, Otoya looking up at him. “You got some nutella on your face.”

“Oh?”

Otoya reaches for a napkin, but a finger gently tilting his face back up distracts him. Suddenly, Ren’s tongue is grazing the corner of his mouth. Heat instantly gathers in his face when he realizes, and Ren looks incredibly pleased with himself when he pulls back to look at him.

“I got it.” He smirks.

“R-Ren…” Otoya glances around, nervously wondering if anyone saw, but fortunately, there’s no one else in the park. 

Ren chuckles, putting his arm around Otoya. “You’re so cute, Ikki.”

Otoya hides his face in Ren’s shoulder, which only makes Ren dote on him more.
