That was something Sera was not expecting to happen. Definitely. Whenever she had to go out (which was rare as well), she never paid attention to what strangers said, unless they came too close so she’d get uncomfortable and well, Sera was tiny enough to not be able to do anything if a guy came to her. The chances of her protect herself in a party was even smaller, but of course she’d follow Dohyun wherever he went since he invited her to come. Of course she’d keep a distance from him so he could have all the fun he could have, but at the same time if she lost sight of him, there was no one else she could run for.
It was when a random guy came talk to her, but Sera tried to cut off him as soon as he came, the smell of alcohol was so strong that she barely believed he could even walk, so a few steps were taken in an attempt to be away from him. Useless. He followed her and grabbed on her wrist, still trying to talk to her (or forcing her to), causing Sera to whimper as she tried to release herself from his hand, telling him she didn’t want to talk but it didn’t work. She was scared. Parting lips to call for someone, she could barely understand wha happened in the next moment but she grip on her wrist was not there anymore and there was someone else there.
“D-Dohyun, what–” Sera started when realizing he had punched the guy that was now on the floor with a hand covering his mouth and groaning, probably with a cut lip, and by looking at Dohyun’s posture it was clear he’d probably give him one more punch. Her heart dropped at the thought and she quickly held his arm, preventing him to do anything else. “No-- It’ll bring you problems, don’t do that--” She said as people gathered around them, things could be worse if they stood there any longer, so thinking about that Dohyun clicked his tongue, took her hand and pulled her out of there. “Why didn’t you do anything??” He asked her when they were outside, still looking a little irritated.
“I tried, but he wouldn’t hear me!”
“I can’t really take eyes off you, aish...” He said with a sigh, rubbing face before looking at his reddish knuckles with a painful expression. Sera pursed her lips and stepped closer, taking his hand and gently caressing it as if it’d make the pain go away. She sorry because he got hurt, that was the last thing she wanted for the night, but at the same time she was really thankful he was there. If it wasn’t him, she probably would have a really, really bad night. Dohyun was a really amazing person that made things a little better.
“Dohyun...” She called him in a tiny voice, still looking at his hand.
“What?”
“Thank you.”
