Of course I did it! {;euijin released a huff from her end of the line. just then, she had created an anonymous account on social media sites just to follow on gongyoo from the ever-famous goblin drama that she’s been obsessed with. from saving his pictures to liking each and every post she saw to posting on his dedicated fanpages, she did it all without any regrets but he didn’t seem all too happy to hear what she had done.} I’d do anything for him.

[ ; all he can do scoff with amusement and shake his head ] Really, you did? [ ; he tries to look over her shoulder to see if she's doing exactly that right now - stalking Gong Yoo on the internet ] I don't get it. [ ; he adds, snorting out laughter. he understands that Gong Yoo is even more popular these days because of that drama but he still.. really didn't get it. maybe because hes a guy? ] What does it get you.. liking his pictures.. and positing on his fancafe? [ ; scratches his head - even as the words leave his lips he realizes that's a little hypocritical considering he's a rookie idol who enjoys every single comment his fans makes for him on his own group's fancafe, but for some reason he can't imagine Gong Yoo doing the same thing ] Isn't he probably really very busy?

( ; she knew for a fact that he was a few years older than her and a lot of her friends from a mutual friend of theirs so what he said made sense to her ) Come on, it’s not that bad… we’re not so young and you’re not that old either! ( ; she smiles brightly at him in attempt to cheer him up a little ) 1993 isn’t that far from 1997! ( ; she nods her head repeatedly ) And there are still so many people older than you… ( ; her nods slowed down as she trails off, thinking that it might have been a mistake to point that fact out )

[ ; he lets out a soundless chuckle; he appreciates her obvious attempt at making him feel better - not that it was all that necessary; it's true that he knows he debuted a little late - and a lot of his fellow rookies make him feel old. even within his own group there's that feeling, what with the seven year difference between him and the maknae. still, he tries, for the most part, not to let it bother him. at least until it becomes obvious with the way they acted - or even just the references they would make in a normal conversation ] ...That's true. Four years. [ ; he chuckles again, this time with sound, while his eyes disappear into his trademark crescents ] I'm young at heart, right? [ ; he comments playfully, trying to make light of the atmosphere as he nudges her gently on the side ]

Well he better have won the lifetime achievement award because such a job would require endless hours of hard work and most of all, patience. [’ he tries to continue on with some of his own witty banter but he realises that it didn’t come across as funny as it sounded in his head; so he just laughs sheepishly at his attempt, hoping that the other male would somehow find it funny enough to laugh along ]

(* jaehyun had read the joke somewhere online - maybe on a joke site? or a pun site, at the very least. sometimes, when he's bored, this is what he does online, on his phone. sehun just happened to be there when he remembered one of the lines that made him laugh -- he pauses at first, expecting sehun to laugh, stupid as the joke is, but the same aged male goes on, cracking his own joke, and son jaehyun is the one cracking up obnoxiously ) That's true - he should get some sort of medal for his excellence, rain or shine, through sleet and snow!

It’s not just that… I think we’re being laughed at… [’ suddenly becoming self conscious of their surroundings, he looks around before looking down to the ground ] …but not really so much of me but maybe it’s because of that thing on your head. [’ he gestures over to the two oddly shaped objects atop his head; two objects that were borderline pornographic that were meant to be the devil’s horns ] don’t you think that those look a little… you know…

( * at first jaehyun has absolutely no idea what sehun is talking about. he'd picked up the devil horns headband after seeing it lying around in the lobby of the fnc building - he assumes it might belong to one of the female staff members, or maybe even aoa's - it had been lodged against the side of the couch after all and who knows how long it's been there ) Ha? ( * he reaches up to touch the thing sehun was pointing at - he'd placed it on his head on a whim, and now he simply pokes at the so called horns ) A little? I know? I don't know?

“it wasn’t me, i swear!”

Her arms were crossed before her chest, hands tucked under the opposite arm, as her eyebrows furrowed, all signs that she was greatly displeased with her friend before her. “Then who sent me the mass drunken spam of texts at 3AM last night if it wasn’t you?” Seungyeon wasn’t entirely upset at the fact that he had messaged her at such an odd hour; she was more worried about his then condition and wondered if he was okay and why he had been drinking in the first place.

His face falls at the accusation - was it really him? Truthfully, he doesn’t remember. He’d been out with a friend - Taehyun, of all people - and sure enough the two of them had several drinks. Maybe, more than several. Jaehyun had woken up that morning with a major hangover and bits and pieces of the previous night missing from his memory. He'd blame his best friend, but Taehyun had decidedly needed those drinks. “Okay, so - “ He cringes, the wrinkles on his face appearing not because he’s overtly happy for once, but because hes confused and worried. “Pretend it was maybe me - what did I say in the messages?”

“Well your life is so oldies corner with cross stitch, knitting, 80′s disco music,  and back pain!” She snapped back, giggling immediately whilst covering her mouth. That’s what they always do to each other, all fun and jokes, and the reason why Jaehyun had always been one of the few guys she’ll ever like hanging around with. He is fun, and their personalities just blend well together. “I’m kidding! But on the other hand, you owe me food, and a piggyback ride, Mr. drummer!”

(* he scoffs in return, even making a point of reaching over to pat the younger female's head as if she's a young child, instead of an actual teenager ) I wasn't even born in the 80's-- have they not taught basic arithmetic in your grade at school yet? (* he's teasing, of course, and it's obvious with the way his face is all lit up with a big grin ) How do I even owe you any of these things? Do they teach extortion in elementary school these days?!

         “I thought you were the one in charge of checking if this was illegal or not–?” It was too late by then. Seungjun already drove out of his company’s parking lot and was heading towards the nearest bookstore with Jaehyun in the passenger’s seat. “If we’re going by common sense here, I doubt that it’s illegal,” he explained calmly, “we’re just heading to a place two kilometers away! And my license expired somewhat recently too so no need to worry.”

"Ah, hyung!" With a loud groan, Jaehyun quickly buckles himself into his seat. It's not as if this little action will especially help, because it's not even Seungjun's driving ability that's in question here--but more the fact that, like he'd mentioned, he's driving without a current license. "Why did you forget to renew--?!" He's practically yelling, but he's also laughing at the same time. "What if the cops suddenly pull us over?!" It's an absurd scenario, but for some reason he feels that it's actually possible, despite the very short drive they were taking.
