‘ i’m going back to bed. ’ (for Takao)
It was late night as Takao tossed and turned in his sleep from a nightmare he was currently having, and after around ten minutes of groaning in his sleep he suddenly released a violent scream then jolted away, it took the world champion a while to calm himself down and once he did his eyes began to search around the darkened room he was currently laying in, all he remembered before drifting off to sleep was Kai helping Rima do some adjustments to her beyblade and he fell asleep out of boredom because during the whole time they worked neither one of them said a word.
After some time had passed the world champion sat himself up on the couch and placed his hand over his eyes hoping he would be able to calm the shaking down before either Kai or Rima came out into the living room due to hearing him scream because of his nightmare, what seemed like a minute passed, Takao finally heard footsteps coming from the hallway and the next thing he seen was Rima standing at the entrance, slowly he showed the rookie blader a forced smile, as to tell her that he was alright before parting his lips to apologize for waking her.“ Sorry that I woke you up Rima.” he spoke in a quiet apologetic voice before his attention drifted away from her then to the open window behind the couch.“I’m alright…” the world champion said even though his voice could tell her otherwise.
Takao guessed that his words were convincing to Rima because the next thing he heard her say after a few moments of complete silence was that she was going to go back to bed.“Alright I guess I’ll see you in the morning then.” the world champion said looking over his shoulders to give the rookie blader one last smile before she decided to walk away from the entrance of the living room.
