I would love to see a time loop or death loop story where, slowly over the course of the story, all the protagonists become cognizant of the fact that they are all in the same loop.
The kicker that would probably get revealed before the climax is that even though they're all experiencing the loop - and are completely aware the others are too - the protagonists realize they aren't synced up at all.
Like the first protag we see/read is in the middle of their second one, but another is starting their twentieth and another is on attempt eleven and so on.
I haven't figured out all the logistics of a time/death loop with this premise, all I know is that it'd cool and brand new.
