okay, here me out...

ignoring my pain threshold pushing the limit and entering day 2 of my insomnia flair up, i think i have somethin here:

the rise of media, horror specifically, that "corrupts" nostalgia is the millennial resentment over everything that was promised to us (affordable higher education, housing, jobs) being completely unobtainable and the fault of this lying with the very ones who promised it in the first place.

anatomy, skinamarink, and backrooms are good examples

and yes i know these can also be about childhood abuse but i'm talkin, like, the wave/trend of this type of media. like how zombie themes are more prevalent when there are conservatives in the white house.

I never really understood trash talking in a game before, and in all honesty the trash talking never really got to me because I really don’t get why people do that and I never really cared since I don’t know them.

Maybe I’m just weird, but I feel like people who tend to trash talk are just insecure people that are very short-tempered. Or maybe that they’re trying to get in my head? I’m a little slow to pick up certain things sometimes so it might be that and maybe I’m thinking a little too deeply about it :p
