I noticed several of your other works like eggshells and the eyes of miasma aren't available on itch. io anymore as of recently. Is there any chance they'll be for sale again soon?
aw ! im touched that someone even noticed but lol.. yeah i took down a few of my comics that i don't intend to continue at this point. honestly it would just kinda bum me out seeing them and being reminded that i put too much on my plate, so taking them down was sort of part of the letting go process to help me fully commit to the decision. I understand it might be a bit disappointing to hear but also a lot of them had not been purchased/downloaded in a very long time outside of maybe one or twice in like.. over the course of years.. so I figured it was probably safe enough. I also removed them bc i didnt want it to give the false impression that they were still ongoing or whatever. Mostly though, it was for me and my emotional commitment to my art moving forward.
For those wondering, I took down Eggshells, Replacer, The Eyes of Miasma and Praeymoon. I lowered the prices of all my other published comics there as well. Slugmom & its alternate end will continue to be available as they are completed! and I am currently still working on part 2 of The Teacher & The Fairy.. which i hopefully will complete early next year. I did also consider dropping this project as I've mostly kept it in limbo since 2021 but I'm going to attempt to actually complete it and have returned to work on it (finally.) So we’ll see how that goes. All the ffak bonus comics are up tho, as they’re still part of FFAK and its canon and I do intend on returning to Help/After Dinner Treat at some point.. Somehow. Not sure what format exactly but at least in some way! Eventually.
Of course, I still love all the projects I started and wished that I had time for everything.. but I’m 35 now and I’d rather give my time to my top creative priorities as I don’t have the same free time I used to even 5 years ago. Maybe I can return to specific stories in the future, as I still won’t be like.. Deleting my work that I wrote/planned/drew. However its probably unlikely at this point, especially when FFAK and NRD are still uncompleted and.. Very long!! At least i can say for FFAK/NRD, the passion and drive is honestly stronger than ever for both and readers shouldn’t worry about those comics. Hope that this makes sense to everyone and I’m sorry to have let anyone down by discontinuing these series.
