Sorry I'm not sorry! This one, the one modern AU where Hamilton and Burr get accidentally married and they decide to stay together because politics are the abandoned ones I want to be updated most.
@thinksideways this direction was diverted away from very soon into outlining it and definitely gone by chapter two, but it was like — Burr having some kind of existential crisis and Hamilton is a jerk and finds out that he can guilt trip Burr into anything. Burr does some shady stuff so Hamilton can rise again in political power and then also they sleep together a lot sooner — because they are mean towards each other and have some ust but it’s bad™ but they have a lot of rough sex, and it keeps going and going and they both kind of hate each other but they neeeeed because their relationship is so complex. Burr with doing whatever and Hamilton just…letting him. Anyway like I said this was how I originally thought the vibe of the fic would be but once I started putting ideas down it became less dark and now they are nice but sad guys with Emotions. I’m glad it is the way it is now because I think it’s better (?) and has more character development than …I hate you but I want to bang you. Idk! But it’s fun to think about sometimes.
Not perfect! But the amount of words is due to me putting almost every hamburr feeling I have into it and then as I go along I add things more than I had planned. Every time, I intend for it to be shorter and written quicker but then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And recently I decided to add a big plot point to the overall plot and I'm like "okay why not?" because I guess I won't be finishing this any time soon lol

@alexangery PLEASE HELP. They are awful. For example. They tell me "it was delivered on your front porch on Monday" A) I don't have a front porch B) packages ends up randomly showing up five days later usually? C) them: oh well then you got it, so that's it D) BUT WHAT ABOUT IT BEING ON MY "FRONT PORCH?" Is that another checkpoint through an alternate reality because it's delivered to my house??? Does Amazon Prime deliver in 5 days in this alternate reality???? I have a lot of anger about this
