I wanted to ask another question! I found your page through your Last Ronin artwork ( which is SO STUNNING BTW ) and I wanted to ask what your favorite part of the IDW comics were? Are you reading The Lost Years? And what do you think of Alopex? I’ve only just started the story in snippets and so far I think she’s the coolest!

thank you! I can't really say much about the IDW comics, unfortunately, 'cause I gave up on them a little after the Northampton arc post-City Fall... partially because of Alopex, who was emblematic of the IDW run's love of shoving important character stuff into side issues that weren't included in the trades I had to read them through, and her character just felt very haphazard and kind of grating. (and then around the time I was reading through the comics I found out Campbell made Raph a cop in her run and I had no more interest in the main IDW continuity after that, lol.) my favorite parts I read were the first arc and the fight at the end of City Fall (Alopex's out-of-nowhere-'cause-all-of-her-character-development-was-in-another-comic-and-they-didn't-really-try-to-reflect-it-in-the-main-series-beforehand heel-face turn aside)
and I'm not reading the Lost Years 'cause Last Ronin was ultimately very disappointing to me and while I like Bishop's designs for the new turtles nothing else I've seen makes me want to give it a shot so far. maybe I'll pick up the hardcover after it's all done? but I'm not interested in following it issue-by-issue, anyway.
