Just a quick post to say that I've had so many comments in my posts recently that it's been impossible to keep up with replying to them all. I've been trying my best, and I'm worried that people might be offended if I don't respond, but then again, I might be overthinking this. I just want to say I'm sorry if some of your comments go unanswered, I will always try my hardest to keep up, and it's never a case of me ignoring you, simply that I couldn't work my way down my list of notifications to your comment before it was full with a new batch of notifications.

If you ever have something you desperately need/want a reply to and it's been 24 hours since you commented, my DMs are always open and usually much emptier, so drop me a message that way instead.

Yoo it's me again- if I was to open up commissions (not on Tumblr tho) to earn money (I HAVE TO PAY 6K FOR A EUROPE SCHOOL TRIP BY JUNE AHH), do you have any tips?? Idk if you have ever done them or know how, but I'm struggling to figure out how much I should charge & what I should offer to do.

I am possibly the worst person you could ask this to because I know nothing at all about commissions and anything about online transactions. I've never done a commission before, nor will I ever do one in the future (due to multiple issues such as me not having a bank account, pretty sure my parents wouldn't agree to anything more, and me just generally.. not needing the money much. My life is pretty financially stable thanks to my parents, so I've never needed extra cash in that matter. On top of that, I am probably the least materialistic person you could ever meet 😭 I think that's because I've gotten into the learnt habit of not wanting to buy stuff I don't find any practical use for, like figurines, merch, posters, etc.. I SWEAR DUDE- I do indeed have a good sum of saved up cash (mostly from lucky money) but it's been over months since I've ever even touched it because I don't need anything lmao) Anyway, I'd advise you to ask this in some dedicated art/commission servers? I think they'd be of more help than whatever I can say

As usual, apologies for not replying quickly. Life is getting to me, but I really did intend to celebrate this rare and wonderful rainy day by doing a ton of writing that included talking to folks. Unfortunately my internet has proven to not like the rainy day, at least not enough for someone like me that needs enough time for too wordy messages.**

So….if I don’t respond to a comment, message, or ask please, PLEASE forgive me. If intent was all that was needed, you would have heard from me two seconds after I saw what you wrote.

** A sensible person, when asked a simple question, can just answer “Nope” or “Yep”, but I feel obliged to write an entire essay explaining why I am answering that, my history with the subject, and how I might possibly answer differently in the future. Sort of like how I’m writing this ramble elaborating and something that didn’t need elaboration. ***

***It occurs to me that my affection for Terry Pratchett isn’t simply enjoying his writing, or the way it ties me to my late mother the fan, but the fact we both have a propensity for footnotes! LOL
