Do not reblog posts from an account called stljedi. They are reposting a ton of content (mostly fanart) without credit from a large number of creators, some of them Tumblr users.

If you are a creator whose work has been reposted by this user without your permission, I encourage you to report the post for Non-attribution.

Reposting art, especially without obtaining permission and especially without giving credit, is not cool. It does nothing at all to help the artist and only benefits the person reposting by funneling traffic to their blog. There is no excuse for reposting art when 1) Google reverse image search is right there, and 2) you can reblog the artist’s work right here on Tumblr, provided they have an account.

⭐ Important: Please do not harass this user. Just report any content of yours that you may find, and Tumblr will take care of the rest. (Eventually. Hopefully.) Block the user and be done.

Due to two separate people coming to me to let me know some of my works have been reposted on Wattpad, I want to make this perfectly clear right now:

I do not, under any circumstances, allow the reposting of my written works on tumblr or any other content hosting website. Even with proper credits. 

This extends to translations as well.

Just as gif makers do not allow reuploads on something that took hours of their time to learn to do and then make, it took me MONTHS to write some of my series, even longer for others. It only takes a few minutes to reupload something and that’s unfair to us, the authors. I have spent months of my life on this blog and on my content because I enjoy writing. It’s a hobby for me.

Do not feel that you, as a reader, are entitled to do with it as you please simply because it’s on the internet. I OWN these works and the law explicitly states so.

From here on out, I will be employing an IP tracker and statistics add-ons to my blog as well as anti-right clicking coding to prevent this from happening from this moment onward.

I will continue to monitor Wattpad to keep an eye on not only my own works but those of my mutuals and the blogs I follow to make sure no one else is experiencing this. I honestly never thought my stories would get reposted but with more followers comes more probability. I’m realizing that now.

Again, I do not allow reposting of my content under ANY circumstances.

I don’t care if you guys repost my things, but PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD give me credit.

I’ve already found an entire Instagram account with the same name as my TWDG blog (@twdg-incorrect-quotes) that’s almost entirely made up of my reposted (without credit) quotes along with other people.

I’ve also already found several people reposting (also without credit) that one comic/visual I made, the one about God and painting dicks in a sky. I’m no artist, but I very much dislike having my things stolen and reposted as if they’re someone else’s work. For the sake of myself and all other content creators, either ask or give us credit.

Quick text post to say if I ever accidently reblog art/screenshots that someone reposted from you without credit - please let me know!

It's something I need to be better about checking. Sometimes I get too excited to add more pictures of Raphael to my pile of insanity, or I'm just mindlessly scrolling and tapping.

You should be credited for your work! So please feel free to message me if this happens and I haven't noticed. Even if you're not the creator but you know it's reposted content.
