Bits from last night. I’ve been feeling incredibly stretched thin at work the last two weeks and just needed to make something. Not sure if I’ll keep or peel some of these coasters or repoured the larger pieces but it was nice to have some me time.

Yesterday I drank a bottle of red wine that I opened 9 months ago – and it was still fresh as a daisy! How can this be?

BOOM! Have some art from earlier tonight

I’m glad I take pictures because the one up top had already migrated and the beautiful green and black but had slid right odd the side 😩😩😩

Still feeling not so creative but the spark is there. I thought it would be about time to test out my newest set of Colourarte pigments and make a couple of Fall themed tests pieces. A couple of tiles later and one repour I’m feeling happy... more tests with the rest of the set to come.

So I set out tonight to test out some new formulas, ideas and color mixes and set my expectations to the bare minimum. I love proving myself wrong

So this went wildly off the rails.. set out to do a pink sunset over the ocean with dark clouds and it was going good until I dropped too much black paint all over the canvas. Couldn’t scrape and fix it enough to make it work so I scraped it all off and made this instead. I didn’t check on it this morning to see how it shifted overnight so who know how it will turn out 🤷🏻‍♀️
