Okay so I'm having to jump offline again now and I'm not sure when I'll be back. Again please feel free to keep sending me updates on everything going on here! Also I'm totally going to do a write-up/review of the makeup in Miss Americana (y'all I'm BEYOND excited to see this gzgzzggzgdhdhdASYHSHSGZZG) and going forward, again once I've got Internet back, I want to do more writing posts. So first of all be warned that there may drop some random myterious short story pieces I've had drafted for a while, along with several additions to my "Chronic Illness Chronicles" and some important comments on some scary local and world events going on that need some signal boosting, etc. Plus I do want to do a weekly makeup discourse and then begin some.... drumroll please... Quest for Lover Fest™ series to prep for the Lover shows!!! (Definitely open to any and all suggestions for better names for the series. If you're wanting to get an idea what it would be about, check out my Rep Tour Prep™ series tag) all of this of course is admittedly very ambitious of me in my current state between my flaring, degrading health and everything (and PAIN especially) making it difficult for me to function at let alone actually write/ blog, so we will have to see what I'm able to do but these are my goals for this here blog right now and so I'm taking the temperature here to see what you all want/would like to see, so let me know! So, I'm cleaning out my phone to make room and I've found that I've still got tons of pictures I meant to post from this series- so, I'm just going to quickly throw together a couple final posts here for more Reputation outfit/costume inspiration.

Revisiting nails, by request! I've found a few things to add and more ideas for nail art for the tour. First of all, let's address the news print looks:

@rmswiftie13 I hope what you were referring to were these kinds of looks where people did nails inspired by the Reputation cover. In the picture above, it looks like the artist used a tool with a very tiny tip and hand-painted the look. However I've got some tutorials on how to transfer actual news print onto nails, which you could use as a background and then add something Rep on top of.

I must say, I think it's rather fortuitous that "REPUTATION" has 10 letters....hmmm. 😊

Some other inspo I've found is various forms of art based on the snake theme, including the Gucci coral snake print that Taylor has rocked. Here's just a few ideas:

There's also tons of other ideas for snake themed nail art out there. Google is your friend on this one!

Finally, a couple more ideas I found- one is another way to do the newsprint one, perhaps by snipping out small bits and piecing them together like a collage. Then, there's Scrabble Tile nails, which could be absolutely adorable considering how much of a Scrabble enthusiast our girl is! The possibility of things you could spell out are endless....I'd love to hear your ideas!

Alright everyone, what do you think? What are you going to do for the tour? How about pedicures? There's always the option of various fun colors to do instead of art. When it comes to glitter, there are lots of options out there. Loose glitter is abundant, so if you go with that you’ll need a good glitter primer such as the NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Glitter Primer, 0.33 Fluid Ounce- $6.00. This will help the glitter stick, so that maybe there’s not toomuch glitter on the floor after the party.

Hey Swifties! Quick Extra #RepTourPrep makeup tip!

Ulta is carrying some awesome rainbow and unicorn products right now, including a cute and affordable (Lottie brand) Mermaid/Rainbow highlighter, and their own Ulta Brand Glitter Gel Set and Unicorn Highlighter. I don't remember the exact prices but got to test them out and all are gorgeous😍

They also have a ton of holo themed items and festival crystals, glitter, etc!

Are you ready for Rep Tour @ Soldier Field?

I've put together some info for you guys including some updates on the regulations and will try to keep updating it as more info becomes available.

First of all, as you may know, parking could be an issue so make sure you head that way as early as you can. There's parking info on Soldier Field's website (https://soldierfield.net) And here's a handy (albeit blurry, I'm sorry) map of the area:

So next comes policies. There's been some confusion about the specific show policies and I'm still working on getting info; I've even called them and left a message so I'll post again as soon as I hear back. Here's what we have so far:

Standard policy info from Soldier Field to keep in mind (the Chicago Park District also has a code of conduct that applies that's pretty much what you would assume but check out their page if you're wondering):

General Stadium Prohibited Items:

Alcoholic beverages & Palcohol•Bags (see bag policy)•Balloons and beach balls•Cans, bottles or other beverage containers•Cameras with lenses no longer than 3 inches for all events except Chicago Bears games - lenses no longer than 6 inches• Confetti• Coolers• Drones / Unmanned Aircraft Systems•Fanny Packs (only prohibited for Chicago Bears games)• Fireworks, smoke bombs•Ice chests• Illegal drugs• Laser pens and pointers• Noise-making devices (ie/horns, whistles, etc.)• Poles to display banners or flags• Seat Cushions with zippers•Selfie-Sticks• Smokless Cigarettes / E-Cigs• Strollers• Umbrellas• Video or movie cameras• Weapons of any kind• Any other items deemed to be dangerous or inappropriate•

*Note that there probably are different policies for anyone with ADA/medical needs! There is info for this on the website too; but please call the stadium and/or TicketMaster if you have questions or might need help with specific needs; usually they are very good about accommodating how they can (I might make a whole #RepTourPrep post about this subject if you guys would want- please let me know!).
