Repurposed an old leather coat I got for free at a clothing giveaway maybe 10 years ago. This was in a bin of other coats and jackets we would never wear but I felt must be stored away in our outbuilding and unearthed a few days ago in our cleaning spree. I removed the lining and “fur” trim and took the seam ripper to every seam. Then I trimmed off all the leather that had stitch holes in it. My idea being I could make those cute leather tags to put on some of the things I make. Plus I wanted an excuse to try out my grommet maker I got at Harbor Freight a few weeks ago. It took a lot of trial and error, and Chance and Ty sharing their knowledge and muscles but I finally got a tag on this hat I’d made a few years ago.
