Au in which Ava falls in love with someojne from another famiglia and everything seems happy until Squalo or Gig point out that his partner might not actually love him. Ava wants to prove them wrong and asks his partner to tag along on a mission. After all forth and back Ava goes with him.

Only to end up being betrayed. His partner vanishes and he dies alone.

"That's..." Ava stared at the sword still half covered by a bundle of cloth. Softly he uncovered the wonderful piece and drew the sword. A japanese katana. Maybe an inch longer than the standart and definitely hand crafted. No doubt that Squalo had layed all his heart into it. Ava was moved and had no idea what to say until Squalo layed his hand on his younger brothers shoulder.

"It's made out of the old sword I used to defeat Tyr. You're ready now, Ava. You're an official Varia member now."

There was a soft melody. Something familiar as he was to sleep away. A womans voice that sang a lullaby for him. How familiar. How nice. And suddenly the beautiful voice of the woman went over to a male one, a younger one, soft and calm as his vision became clearer. 

As the young boy looked up he noticed the look on his brothers face as he stopped singing.

"Squ...? Are you crying?"
