Yep. You knew this was coming... Tiger toes for #ToeTuesday! You have to admit, even at an estimated 6 to 7 weeks of age this "little" cub already has an impressive set of claws. These sharp hooked claws serve young tigers well. As they grow; climbing, practice hunts and wrestling are all part of life. I will never, ever, take any of this for granted. It is an honor to be in such close contact with some of the most amazing creatures on our planet. I have been working with, and for, animals most of my life. And yet moments like this still fill me with gratitude and awe. I am glad our amazing team of animal care specialist are here to take care of this little guy.
