The unknown person who did this is in a bad place in their heart. No one who isn’t could do something like this. We have no pity for them, but we will not waste our time or energy with outrage. They did the puppy a favor by doing what they did because now we will find someone that will love her. We will find the triumph in this story. The triumph that someone heard her cries and immediately called the police. That BIA Officer Heather Baker responded and rescued little Diamond out of the dumpster. The fact that one of our regular rescuers Harleigh Davis immediately reached out and we worked together as a community to save another one. This is a win. We got the call that if we didn’t take him in he was going to be shot. He was SO incredibly happy to get that chain off. He has since found his forever home and is very loved. @turtlemountainanimalrescue @get_repost REAL MEN RESCUE DOGS: These are the men behind the the videos coming out of the hurricane Florence animal rescue efforts we’ve been posting. Keith Benning ours truly who drove from ND to NC, to dive in, literally, and do what his mad skills were meant to do, rescue animals. John NeeSmith from Rogue One. Which is literally just him, drove from Texas to help with rescue efforts. I spoke to his wife and she is one lucky woman. Marshall Furr (Yes his last name is actually Furr 🤔) but he is better known as The Dog Father, also drove from Texas to be of service to the animals there. HERO: a person who is admired for their courage, outstanding achievements and noble qualities. Yes. By all definitions, I’d say they are hero’s for the animals and the people who love them.
