@resdentevl Chris looked dead-ass tired. Haggard after jumping through so many hoops and hurtles on Prison Island, Antarctica and dealing with hidden Umbrella spies all dug into the world like a Cancer. But- after all of that had been done, there had been a sense of peace. Momentary peace yes, but peace none the less. He’d spent hours in debrief with top US officials over his part he played in the fight against Umbrella and their nightmarish monsters. After the debriefs were done he went out into a nearby breakroom he was directed to and made some coffee in a nearby coffee pot when he located the grounds needed for it. It was the cheap kind which was a downer, but no one was there to stop him from doubling up the dose of grounds used.

How it bothers you.“ a sharp glance of pale blues as the telepath stares back at the woman before him, a smile upon his lips as he seats ever so casually on his seat, hands lazily resting upon his knees. “The nightmares. Must had been scary. But you try to hide it. The fear. Think it makes you weak.“ And perhaps he shouldn’t be prying into other’s minds but, he prefers this over hiding the truth. People’s minds never lie to him. Words do. “I can make it go away, you know. It’s rather easy.” A wave of his hand, a snap of his fingers and that would be gone from her mind. @resdentevl​

     with everything going on for god knows how long at this point ( the virus, the zombies, etc. ), there was no doubt that some part of maya’s entire being was scared shitless of whatever was to come later.

       she was never a fighter, not unless it was verbal-- and even then, that had to be after she’d been pushed past the edge. past her breaking point. but what she needed right now, what she wanted more than anything, was for someone to tell her it was going to be okay.

             and she got that. not in so many words, but a single touch from brooke’s hand got her to glance over with the smallest of weak smiles before taking the dive, gripping the other’s hand entirely.

               if they were going to go through all this bullshit, at least they could go through it together.
