Every time Armin talks about the future I just know Thada be like, "This man might be crazy," but then immediately after I know he's like, "Shid me too...I am his stalker #1 fan."
And I'll forever scream about how absolutely seasoned Armin appears next to every one else because he is seasoned even tho he's technically not. Pond does such a good job of making 25 yr old Armin feel mature and seasoned like his 40 yr old self was. So much so that he comes off as weird to the people who know him.
Phat immediately calls him out on his sudden use of polite language. 25 yr old Armin used vulgar language but 40 yr old Armin in 25 yr old Armin's body uses polite language like the grown ass man he is. It's a layer of respect learned with getting older.
Even shooting this scene with Ren his aura gives off main character. It gives I know what the fuck I'm doing and been known for years. And I love how shooketh the people around him are because the expertise seems to come out of the blue. Because just 24 hrs ago he was fumbling and stumbling with one line. It's odd to them but it's nothing to Armin.

And while I'm praising Armin, I love that he doesn't feel like he's unworthy of Thada. Armin knows his worth. He's worked hard to be the man he is. He doesn't need to question if he's fit to stand beside Thada. He feels lucky and grateful to have Thada beside him, lifting him up because he knows he deserves a partner like that in his life. He's well aware of the caliber of man Thada is and he knows that it's what he deserves.
They deserve each other and they both know it.
Whose ever idea it was for them to do open mouth kisses? I owe you my first born child. My gawd.
Armin: "We can just cook in your room!"
Thada: "Right. Right. Right. My room..."
Thada *internally*: "I don't even know what that place looks like...hope it's furnished...hope I have pans."
Lol i know people found Armin's public crashouts annoying especially since these people have done nothing to him YET! But he fucking DIED and he knows how all those people will feel about him eventually. The man has PTSD so he flies off at the handle because he's triggered. Like the crashouts are wild but...they're kind of valid.
It irks me that Lily has no real reason for hating Armin. Like she just genuinely doesn't like him in general. There's nothing he did or said, personally she just don't like him. Like wow. That's so insane.
