After the series aired, how did you feel about the audience's feedback?
The environment and many factors have helped me bring Armin to life. I shaped him based on real circumstances… what I believe Armin should be like. When I read the novel, I already had images in my head. But when I first read the script, I thought… I didn't want to appear too 'petite'. I'm glad the audience could see his inner beauty through the drama. The first time I saw the word "beautiful," I was both excited and shy. I couldn't imagine what kind of image I would present when I acted… I just tried to be as beautiful as I possibly could. I must thank everyone who's followed us until now. In the first few episodes, you may have only seen one side of him, but after encountering Thada's love and clashing with it, he became more "beautiful." I never deliberately set out to make this character appear so beautiful… because to be honest, I couldn't determine how Armin would come across to the audience. But seeing the audience's "beautiful" comments still surprised me a little. I was happy… very happy that everyone's preparation helped Armin appear just as he's described in the script and novel. Aside from gratitude, I don't think there's another word to describe it. Seeing Armin on screen makes me happy and excited… though sometimes it still feels strange. Everyone says I look like I stepped right out of the novel… and that, for sure, was what I aimed for from the start. Could I hit that target? Was I right for the role? When I first read the novel, I felt Armin was still quite different from me… and that he was someone who needed a lot of energy, passion of an artist - character traits which I wasn't always sure if I could fully capture and convey myself. But after seeing those comments, I was relieved that everything I'd dedicatedly put into him had produced exactly what people were hoping for. I'm truly satisfied… so I want to thank Armin and everyone who's walked this road with us. - Pond Ponlawit
