          Prudence couldn’t say she was surprised at her fellow pearl’s        reaction. It was a stupid idea, anyway. Who else, especially a        P e a r l , would have the gall to question their allegiance to        Homeworld?

     From the ocean, a FIGURE emerged ; their movements were slurred, slow. Lapis Lazuli had lost CONTROL --- forced to smash Jasper’s gem, else Malachite would go mad, on a rampage. For so long she had held her chains, but they had broken. Lapis did not feel upset though, strangely. She felt relieved, no longer BURDENED. Weak legs gave out and she fell into the sand, body shaking.

Possibly the only chance Pearl had the opportunity to relax was when Yellow and Blue Diamonds met. Her and the other Pearl would often be left to themselves while they spoke, not caring what they did so long as they didn’t wander far.

Her expression or silence didn’t lift until they were out of earshot though, giving the other Pearl a small smile while they walked, ready to share anything and everything that happened to their own forces.

Peridot was... attempting to sleep in the barn, though she had a hard time staying asleep. She couldn’t help but think about what she’d said to Yellow Diamond, even if it had been just the other day.

She couldn’t believe it. She was a Crystal Gem now, and.. there was no going back.

She had also called Yellow Diamond a clod right to her face! She was sure to be crushed if Yellow Diamond or her Pearl came back for her... Oh, this wasn’t good. She was... scared now.

Sometimes being exposed to Earth culture can leave a everlasting effect on a gem, the outdated Peridot model was feeling such effects. After watching a sci-fi movie, she decided to wear some dark robes and stand evil-like near a shadowed area. She even started to make a different tone of voice to sound like a sci-fi dark lord villian.

“Behold as this world shall bear witness to my fully operational battlestation, fire the proton torpedo!” The nerdy gem yelled this and pressed a button, causing a high powered canon to fire a large pillow. The force that shot it out was powerful enough to push someone down.
