Day 1: what are your New Years resolutions?
1. Shower every single day - this sounds silly but as a mom sometimes I don't and I think it's really important for self care
2. Zero soda - I'm finally breaking the habit once and for all
3. Break a sweat 5x a week - self explanatory
4. Grow in my relationship with God - pray/meditate daily, go to mass every Sunday, etc
5. Run a half marathon
6. Spend my money more wisely
7. Eat healthier in general - I start my first round of whole30 tomorrow
8. Practice patience with my children, put down my phone and spend quality time with them as much as possible
2018 is going to be hard, but I'm ready to make the most out of it and grow into the best version of myself thus far. Here's to 2018 and new beginnings. 👍

Scrabbled egg for breakfast (I haven’t ate breakfast for such a long time now...)
I had a fruit salad (only banana, orange and an apple - the store had nothing else!:( )
I went for one twenty minute walk and one thirty minute walk :)
No fizzy drinks!
No alcohol!
Completed day six of my 30 day exercise challenge (butt and gut) - I normally forget to do it!
Dinner was a jacket potato with tuna (normally a sandwich - but these have been hurting my stomach...alot)
I walked up all the stairs at college, instead of the elevator (about 7 flights?)
JAN 1: What are your New Years resolutions?
So, I am joining in on this. I am hoping this will keep me on my goal and make me happier. Here are some of my resolutions:
1) Be happier - this year I want to make myself happy. I am going to try and stay positive and kick my depressions butt.
2) Be healthier in general - I am not going to make myself go on a diet or be anal about my weight loss, I am just going to be healthier than I was. I will eat healthier, go to the gym more and make better decisions while keeping track.
3) I will focus more on school - I'm not a bad student, but I tend to procrastinate and hope to fall back in love with learning.
Lastly
4) I am going to try and love myself - I have never liked myself in any way shape or form. This year I will hopefully change that for the better and start to love myself no matter what.

Reasons for doing this:
1. I want my health back. I'm tired of being sick all the time and I'm tired of being on a bunch of medication.
2. To fall back in love with myself
3. I want my kids to have a healthy mother
Jan 24. If you need motivation to workout where do you find it?
I find the willpower to do something small, like go for a walk or do a 5 minute workout video or something. I don’t worry about doing anything else. Once I’m up and moving and doing whatever that small thing is I’m normally motivated enough for an actual workout. It works most of the time, it’s just making that first move to get off the couch that is a struggle sometimes.
Jan 8. Favorite and least favorite healthy foods?
Favorite: Pears, garbanzo beans, sweet potato, mango, and pretty much all vegetables.
Least favorite: Protein powder. They either taste gross or are gritty. If anyone has suggestions for not gritty protein powder that doesn’t taste like chemicals let me know.
