where did you learn how to retexture hairs?

I learned 95% of everything I know for hair retexturing by plumb-bombs, thanks to her wonderful video tutorial. She also teaches you how to do your own controls (which I do for every hair). Some people prefer to copy the original, but I find this helps you make your retexure more unique and add variance compared to other retextures of the same hair.
