Minecraft Zombie Story

Sometimes I am really stupid and well yesterday was a moment. I was playing none other then Minecraft and I left my room to eat and stuff I think. So I was gone eating and messing with my nephews that came to visit. So after playing with them and protecting them from broken glass I come back and I have died and I need to respawn. What! A zombie killed me. So I respawn and I see the zombie. In the other room in my house. I kill it with just my fists, boy am I strong, haha.

So I look around, did I leave my door open? No, so how? There are no holes, it just spawned in my house?

How is that possible? Anyways I was gone for too long and so everything in my inventory despawned, good thing I put my diamond pickaxe away. That is a relief. I hastily turned my Xbox off in case I might get the save back before I died and no luck. I just enchanted a sword too. Well damn.
