The Book of Amos
There was a lot of judgement declared on the people
I really like the compulsion he describes in the job of a prophet, they can't help but share what God has revealed to them. Amos is rebuking the people for silencing the prophets before. He has an exchange with Amaziah about this very subject. Its not like Amos chose to be a prophet but God called him from his life to live for Him.
Though there is a lot of talk about their exile, there is a prophesy of hope at the end of the book. God is not in the business of pushing people away. He reconciles relationships and wants all nations to come to Him.
