Finding out a lot people on here who I previously had respect for are boundarie breakers and or just straight up believe that content creators shouldn't have boundaries is actually really disappointing. Yeah obviously they aren't their characters but when they put so much of themselves into these characters (especially if it's their name and or likeness) then it definitely makes sense for them to put up boundaries so everyone can still have fun and be comfortable. Even if you don't understand their feelings you should still respect them.
(P.S I wanna note that I don't condone harassment or doxxing which should be obvious but a lot people on here are trying to make weird claims that people who are saying everyone should respect boundaries support that kind of behavior.)
“Why shouldn't we get some horny good sex for gay people on TV?”
Honestly, seeing these kinds of questions even being asked is… exhausting. They’re invasive, they’re entitlement wrapped as “curiosity,” and they put actors in a position they should never have to navigate publicly. Jacob handled it incredibly well — but he shouldn’t have had to.
What gets me is how quickly people forget the basics:
No one owes their sexuality to the internet. Not actors, not creators, not anyone.
We don’t interrogate straight actors when they play queer roles or vice versa. We didn’t demand Matt Bomer, Noah Reid, or countless others to justify anything when they crossed orientation lines in their casting. And honestly — have we learned nothing from the Kit Connor situation?
It’s especially ironic because the LGBTQ+ community has fought for decades for the right to choose if, when, and how you share your identity. That includes choosing not to. That includes privacy. That includes not labeling yourself for strangers who think they’re owed something.
We can’t preach “don’t force people to come out” and then turn around and demand real-life personal disclosures from actors simply because we’re attached to their characters.
Just appreciate the performance. Appreciate the story. Enjoy Shane and Ilya for who they are without dragging the real people into parasocial expectations. And maybe take a breath — the entire story is literally about closeted athletes terrified of being outed. Are we missing the point?
Talent doesn’t equal access. Admiration doesn’t equal entitlement.
Let them live their lives without audiences trying to claim ownership over their identities.

there’s nothing to be done about it other than that, really. but that’s okay. 🤍 i just can’t stand seeing so many of my favorite writers on here being treated this way.
i’ve got plenty of digital proofs saved to prove the fics and fanfics i have written are, in fact, mine. ;) but still. while they say plagiarism is the “highest form of flattery,” it’s also just dishonest, disheartening and deeply shitty. that’s all :,) thank you to my little warrior tribe who has always come to the rescue. let’s all keep being there for each other x

Next part of the silly thing
little bees buzzing into mama's hive with just "hello" "morning" cute. disrespectful. wrong. “hello mama honeybee” “good morning mama honeybee”
buzz back to your corner until you remember how to address mama honeybee properly.
now, which little bee is gonna do it right for mama~?
The only people threatening others is literally antis that can't handle anyone interacting with fiction in a way they hate. Y'all will accuse people of being rapist pedophiles for reading. So when are you gonna go after horror fans for being murderers? Oh wait, I forgot, the hypocrisy is standard for antis. Get over yourself.
I have proship dni literally everywhere on my blog, maybe would you consider stopping violating other people's boundaries, especially boundaries of CSA victims who are literally triggered by your defense of content with CSA romanticization?
Oh, you also deny the abuse that happens to real people and literally lead a girl to fear for her safety and LIFE. But I'm not surprised, knowing your community.
