Some Context Rambles: -Q-taro always goes out to the stables in the evening to see his dear horse, Jolene, to give her a nice grooming. (Of course on earlier in the day occasions the kiddos at the orphanage like to help him out and even put little flowers in her mane) ((Forced myself to draw a semi-realistic-ish animal for this LMAO)) -While brushing through her beautiful coat, he happens to catch a glimpse of a suspicious looking individual heading into the orphanage (Said individual being Keiji) and goes into defensive mode, even grabbing a baseball bat he was known for playing around with the kids with as a weapon. -Of course once he makes it into the Orphanage's doorway, bat in the air ready to beat someone, and realizes everything is okay and Keiji was just a new Sheriff looking for directions to a certain town, he quickly finds himself incredibly embarrassed by his overly protective action. -After a good talk the two men are alright and Keiji even ends up staying in the area for a few days before taking off again, even inviting Q-taro to come alongside him on his journey after warming up to him (and getting a little nudge from the lady running the orphanage as she wants Q-taro to "spread his wings" as well.) In conclusion, I definitely want to draw more for this little AU ehehehehe
