can you sprite this guy for me
I shall try:
I wasn't sure about the horns so you get four variations of horns. And slightly mismatched stripy socks.

Ok, heres the one i really need critique on, my heinoustuck itchy 01 design. Hes supposed to be based off some of the fastest animals on earth (cheetahs, hawks, to a MUCH more minor extent rabbits), but i feel like I kind of did a terrible job.
Also heres the ones im proudest of just so you can see. I know that the background on the crowbar one is fucked but thats because I was on the computer at the time instead of my phone like normal so i basically used online ms paint

Hmm, I think the designs are solid enough! I like Crowbar’s design the best.
I notice you’re using an aliased/non pixelated brush though, which really sticks out against the pixels. Using an anti aliased brush would make it blend in better, and also make it easier to make the lines neater since they’re a little messy right now.
I decided to make an official sprite for my first homestuck oc Tistra! I made her in like 7th grade so she has purple hair bc… why not. I grew attached to it.
---
I think this looks great! The fantroll design is cute, the lines are very neat and all in all it’s very pleasing to look at. I like how the hair and pants are drawn, and the little freckles too.
I actually don’t have any complaints for this... maybe make the ends of the jacket a little bit more curved? That’s just a nit pick though.
I will say though, it’s a little weird that you chose to do this sprite without using pixels, since that’s typically the homestuck spriting style. I’m not sure if it’s good or bad, just weird. Still, it looks very nice ^^
hi i hate to bother you again, but you inspired me to sprite again for the first time in months
so i. redid my persona. roast me, please
---
Nothing to roast, friend ‘3′
As I’ve said, I adore the colors you use and how soft your sprites look, and that symbol is just plain adorable. If you’re looking for critique though, maybe clean the shoes up a little?
Hey!!! I did some sprites all by my myself by using a base for it of course! (the lines are a different brush) May I get some critique? :00 and maybe a resprite if possible?? Also btw your a big inspiration to me!! :DD
---
Hmm, it’s really weird that you did the sprite without using a pixelated brush. It’s not bad, just odd.
Regardless though, the sprite is very cute! I like the design of the fankid as well. The clothes could be more curved to give the illusion of three dimension
(sorry about bringing this dumb ref every time, it’s just easier to understand)
the shoes can be tidied up as well.
These are just small problems though! The sprite as a whole is very cute ‘3′
could i get some critiques? i know my style def ain’t as crisp and nice as others
i just realised both characters are maids- i just love that godtier i guess!
----
Juce, you know I’d die for you and your sprites.
I love how soft your colors look and your designs and it looks so aesthetically pleasing to me. The flower crown on the first one looks so good, and the second one’s outfit’s color looks really good together.
I !!! LOVE !!!
hello! i was wondering if i cold get some critique for this sprite. i just started using a new style with my sprites. ((my sprite blog is @kiwi-prince-sprites for reference)) any advice/ opinions?
---
Well, you have a good base going, but it can use some work.
The design is good, but the lines are a bit messy, and should be a little thicker. Around 2px to 3px.
It’s good to develop your own style, but I suggest you use canon sprites as a jumping off point. Use the canon head and body base, and start developing your style from there.
I think the fins are too big, so scale those down a little, and make the freckles a little darker because otherwise they’re hard to see unless it’s zoomed in. Also, when making the horns and clothes, stuff like that, don’t just make it with flat lines.
Here’s a comparison for reference. Use curves where curves should go to give your sprite the illusion of being in three dimension.
Here’s a resprite I did, which you can use as a reference if you want!
I’m fairly new to spriting, but I think I’m getting fairly good at it! I’d love to hear some input so I can get better.

You’ve got a good base going! I really like the design of this troll, especially the outfit and the bangs. I dunno why, I just really like that strand that kinda falls to their face, it’s a cute touch.
As for criticisms, again, use curves on the pants and shoes (the hoodie looks good already!) so it looks like it conforms to the sprite’s body. Also, change the strings on the hoodie a little,it’s hard to differentiate the strings from the other lines.
The toes (I think those are toes?) on the shoes look a little odd. Drawing all the toes is difficult (as in, difficult to make nice- lord knows I had a struggle with it) but it’s kinda weird to just have one visible toe. Either that, or make the feet completely featureless.
Still, all and all, the sprite is quite good!
