The 5 Course Date

I hope you’ve brought your stretchy pants, because you're gonna need them for this couple’s date idea; and time, lots of time. 

The Date

Simply put, this idea is going to involve you and your significant other embarking on a restaurant date that lasts 5 courses. What are you allowed to have for each course? Well, traditionally it involves an appetizer to start, followed by soup and salad, then pasta, the main course, and finally desert. Thats pretty much it in a nutshell. But wait a minute, I hear you say. Won’t a 5 course meal be super expensive? Yes, yes it will be however like always, the plan is to flip this idea on its head, and hopefully save you some money in the process.  

Restaurant Crawl

How are you going to make a story out of this idea? Well, first you must pick an area that has a bunch of restaurants close to each other. This could be a plaza, a long street, or even a mall’s food court. The idea here, is that for every course you have, you must go to a different restaurant. This means you go to one place for an appetizer, another for soup/salad, and then pasta, the main course and lastly desert. The only downside is that this is going to take a significant amount of time, BUT it'll result in a pretty awesome story you can share with your friends and family. Just remember to plan your route out before hand. You wouldn't want to end on the desert without anywhere to actually have desert. 

Other Crawls

If this idea is a little too daunting, feel free to mix it up a bit. Instead of 5 courses, make it 3. Or instead of food, you could do an old fashion pub crawl and order a different type of drink at every bar. For those of you that are embracing the delivery age we live in, might I suggest you order from 3 different places instead of from one place. One appetizer, main and desert. As an added bonus, it'll be hilarious to see all the delivery people showing up at the same time. 

Wrap Up 

5 courses. 5 different restaurants. 1 unforgettable (and time consuming) experience. Yes its a little intense, and yes it'll be a very long process. But this idea is quite unique, and could possibly be the spark needed to liven up your dating life. Just don't forget to tip.
