Restaurant Rendezvous|Corinne
Johnnie glanced down at the phone checking for the address again. It was a little chilly, given that summer was only just beginning to wind down, and she was eager to get inside. Shorts and a tee shirt just weren’t enough. She pulled up Corinne’s number on her phone and sent her a text, letting her know she was only a minute or two out. It had been a long week, and a long weekend. She had finally managed to drag herself to a couple of her classes at the end of the week, that combined with the partying she had done over the weekend had left her exhausted and ready to meet up for a more relaxed evening. And Johnnie needed no real convincing when it came to food, so the diner meet up was a good idea. Apparently diners were just sort of her thing now, but given her affection for breakfast food, and her current love affair with blueberry pancakes, it was a match made in heaven. She spotted the place, and pulled the door open before stepping inside quickly. She hadn’t heard back from Corinne yet, and wasn’t sure if she had already made it.
