In the stillness, you will find renewed strength and a deeper connection with me. Cast your cares upon me, and I will give you rest for your soul. #jesus #rest #trustinme #restinme There is an opposing system to approaching God through Faith. That system is called Babylon & it’s mentioned in the Bible from beginning to end. It’s approaching life, death, everything in between through a different lens of Faith than approaching Jesus. For example, Genesis 10 shows a tower that’s being built to try to get to Heaven. This was the Tower of Babel. 18 chapters later though, we see Jesus pictured in the form of a ladder coming down from Heaven. Isn’t that so God? Instead of us building & building to do the impossible, He meets us where we are so we don’t have to struggle so hard & in vain. Jesus is inviting us today to approach life, Death, & everything in between, by embracing the ladder. Instead of trying to use our own strength, accept Jesus’ help. Accept the ladder when it comes to relationships, raising your kids, being a good student, etc. God sent that ladder for a reason then in Genesis 28.
