Table 26 is one of my new favorite restaurants in West Palm Beach. It’s menu consists of comfort food with a modern flair in a Nautical chic ambiance.

A few items on the menu that I have personally tried were the Shrimp and Grits (my favorite), the Calamari Pad Thai (spicy and delicious, I have ordered it twice), the Kale Salad (very good, but my favorite  was at the Forge’ Miami), the Fried Chicken ( I liked it), the Filet Mignon (Delicious and hearty), the Korean BB Short Ribs ( my least favorite, its was good but a little rich for my blood).

My daughter and nephew order the Beef Tacos and liked them and my other nephew order the Burger and seemed to enjoy it.

  What Table 26 does well is they keep the menu current and service top-notch. The first 2 times I went there they brought out an adorable steel basket of biscuits with an accompaniment of homemade strawberry jam. The biscuit was perfect and the jam right on target. This last time I was there for my sister’s birthday and they brought out what looked like a yeast roll. I was a bit disappointed because I looked forward to the biscuit, but it was just as good.  It was a gluten-free cheese roll. My family was looking for the butter, but shortly realized you didn’t need it. It was spot on.

For dessert we ordered the Smore Sunday and the Banana Bread Pudding. Both were outstanding. The Bread pudding was the Table “Lacondrata” favorite!

The bill can get costly since the appetizers and so desirable at about $14 a piece and the dinners are around $25-$35 for the entrée.  Add drinks and dessert you can see how it adds up. It is my opinion that due to the quality of the meal, it is well worth it.  Luckily we came in on the 1/2 off all entrée’s from 5-6pm  (reservations recommended) and it saved us a small fortune. There were 7 of us and we ordered 5 appetizers 5 entrée’s, one bloody Mary (my moms favorite), 2 desserts and spent $225.00 with tip.

  Next time I visit Table 26, I look forward to trying the Lobster Mac and Cheese. If you happen to go to Table 26 without me, please come back to this post and comment on your experience. Do not forget to bring cash for the Valet.

At restaurants...

Me: I tihnk I might want the pasta bowl...

My friends: Eww carbs! Really you're eating that?!

Waiter: Have you decided yet?

Me: Yes, I'd like the bread meal with the bread on top and with extra bread over the bed of rice. And that comes with two sides right? I guess I'll just have the pasta dish as one of my sides and the rice pilaf as the other thank you :)

My friends: I'll have a water please
