Challenge #5: The beauty in your voice
A walk in the park in spring feeling the rays of the sun on my skin, feeling the light breeze and listening to the fluttering of the leaves that move with it. What wonderful smells surround us in spring, what a mixture of flowers and plants that are certainly more beautiful than ever. I walk being careful not to fall over, as always, but this warm heat and this intense smell make me keep walking as if you were following a perfume to which you are addicted. But then, a different sound makes me stop, it is not the song of the birds or the people walking, nor the sound of the cars that are heard very far away. It's something different that reaches my ears and catches me, a voice that makes me head towards it. As I get closer it becomes clearer, until I also hear the instrumental music that accompanies it, which must be a speaker because I can’t hear it with the clarity of live instruments. I would dare to say that she sings like angels, but I have never had the pleasure of hearing these little winged beings sing. I sit in a nearby bench and I continue to listen, intoxicated by the beauty of that voice and the songs it plays. However, there comes a moment when all sound stops suddenly, and I return to reality when that voice asks me: "Can I sit down?" Between hesitations, I answer that of course she can, and she thanks me for listening to her, "While you listen to me, you have on your face an expression of peace and harmony that I had never seen in anyone”, she says, and I, holding my cane, can’t answer otherwise: "I'm sure you're beautiful, all these people who are listening to you can see it, I can’t, and yet I can see better than anyone how beautiful you really are through your voice".
