I really wish I could understand what it’s like to live there because you make it sound pretty poopy and I have a totally different understanding than a residential student : /

i dont HATE rmc, im just kind of apathetic about it as a school. its shit, but its MY shit yknow? but its still not a school that makes me think "i love this place" when i sit there. which may be a good thing because ill be less clingy and sad about leaving it. obviously i like rmc enough that i stayed here over william and mary. although that was a bit more complicated decision than "i like this school more than this other one" and more of "this school offers me more opportunity for my abilities than this one will".

but its always reminded me of what i imagined public highschool must be like. even from the first day. honestly i dont think i can describe it much better than that. but the students are more apathetic. theres really not a whole lot of school pride here, everyone knows this is just a stepping stone to get somewhere better rather than a home.

yeah :( i asked the assistant manager who fired me when i should say on job resumes and she told me to put that id been laid off, which is better (though not exactly true). so if i say that it wont make me feel like a liar because its what she told me to do.

i dont give a shit about the job itself and i dont plan on getting another one for a while, but i am pretty pissed that now im going to have to write that i was fired on all my job applications

thanks!! and yeah it is meg, ive been on the verge of quitting it all summer i just didnt want to have to look for a new one.

honestly though, im not lying when i say i just don't care because for once i honestly do not give a shit. im relieved to be free from it to be honest. they cut my hours so much this last month it really wasnt worth it anymore.
