Gushing about Vs. Retrospecter

Okay, so...this FNF mod was in the works for nearly 4 fucking years. And all that wait was totally fucking worth it.

But let's start from the beginning.

I was actually a fan of Retrospecter even BEFORE he made the FNF remixes.

My first real experience with him was his Revolvania remix:

God, I can't believe it's almost seven years since this song dropped. I still remember hearing it the first time and loving it.

Now, eventually, a few years after I became a fan of his work, Retro dropped this.

That caught my attention. The fact that one of my favorite remix artists was making a fucking FNF mod of himself was really cool.

And eventually, 4 years later, it evolved into this.

"Infernadise"...the name intrigued me. I knew for a fact the Retrospecter mod was going for a whole "seven deadly sins" thing (Retro himself was Wrath) but it looks like the mod was going all-in on that.

And then I played it. I've never gone out of my way to play an FNF mod before, but I'm so glad I did.

First of all, let's talk about the characters.

Now, I'm avoiding talking about the more spoilery parts, but these guys are the meat & potatoes of the mod. The "Infernalings", each representing one of the seven deadly sins.

Retro is Wrath, Sakuroma is Lust, Izzurius is Pride, Insatian is Gluttony, Hivemine is Greed, Atrocean is Envy, and Dozirc is Sloth.

(By the way: Sakuroma, Insatian and Hivemine are girls.)

And yes, they all have their own dedicated sections to them. Though Sakuroma can only be done after beating all the others.

But that's not everything. There's also the Minus songs. Yes, each character has their own Minus Mod equivalent, and instead of being set in a hellscape, it's set in a high school. Sounds crazy, but the mod makes it work. Due to Tumblr's 10-image limit on the app, however, I can't show them all off in one post, but for now, have my two personal favorites: Hinus (Mivemind) and Minsatian.

And yes, all Minus characters have their names changed to start with the letter M (with slight alterations to some of them), so it's Metro, Maku, Mizzy, Minsatian, Mivemine ("Hinus"), Mocean and Mozy.
