rewatched both the avengers: earth’s mightiest heroes and avengers assemble cartoon series recently and holy shit did they nerf the entire team in the latter series, especially hulk and thor??

also can we talk about the way disney and the mcu has done irreparable damage to the characterization of SO many marvel characters? like don’t get me wrong, i don’t necessarily dislike the mcu. but i do hate the way that it's bleeding into pretty much every other iteration of marvel media, so much so that the mcu is beginning to be considered the main source material over the actual comics WHICH IS INSANE
