A study found more than 15% of childhood asthma cases in Massachusetts can be traced to gas stoves.
Childhood asthma was connected to gas stoves and republicans immediately started fear mongering over Biden taking their gas stoves away. It’s gotten to the point where he had to say “I’m not taking your fucking gas stoves away.”
What will probably end up happening is that they’ll be replacing gas stoves with electric ones once a house doesn’t have anybody living in it and new houses won’t bother having any. Not because of “the government taking your gas stove away,” but because it’d be more likely to get people to rent or buy a house with an electric stove than to have a gas one.
And by “probably” I mean “they are almost definitely doing this.”
