1, 8-31 (sorry but i couldnt choose/memorise the ones i wanted to know more) 37 n fuck i forgot hold on
1. things that inspire you - other than my shittyboring life, movies and books i’m currently watching/reading or oldfavs, i don’t really know how to deal with inspiration tbh. for awhile now instead of being struck by a sudden idea, i just tend toplay scenarios over and over in my head until i’m insane or findone that fits the story
omfg mack “8-31″ does that mean ALL IN BETWEEN?? HERE WEFUCKIN GO
8. what time are you most productive? creatively (&by that i mean not editing) probably night/late night
9. do you set yourself deadlines? i try to, but don’treally live by them
10. how do you do your researches? google & fandomwiki for details, it’s not that dEEP
11. do you listen to music when writing? instrumentalor jazz only, if i’m having a hard time i just shut it off cause mybrain is a pain
12. favorite place to write - my room
13. hardest character to write - characters that are(mostly) comic-relief in canon because it’s hard to predict howthey would act in more serious situations (especially IRL), plussometimes i just don’t know how to manage their funny traits so iditch them. also characters i consider underdeveloped IC or too one-dimensional. basically characters i don’t like much lol
14. easiest character to write - no character is evereasy, but i feel really comfortable writing otose, dont ask me why
15. hardest verse to write - lmao that whole flashbackscene in how fools when toshi backtracks to their room to saygoodbye, i actually broke a sweat. other than that, transition scenesr always horrible to write cause i want them to matter and beinformative (move the pace etc) but also not be boring. theyfrustrate me to no end
16. easiest verse to write - every single line gintokisays to intentionally fuck with toshi’s heart :)
17. favorite AU to write - modern day AU of course
18. favorite pairing to write - ginhiji. it’s a partof me at this point
19. favorite fandom to write - gintama. i just have alot of fun playing with the characters regardless of romance etc
20. favorite character to write - gintoki &toshi, my boys, love writing han too
21. least favorite character to write - see 13.
22. favorite story you’ve ever written - i onlywrite what i’d like to read myself, so it’s a given i love all mystories. yet i’m not as big a fan of my old stuff as i was at thetime i wrote it. my favs rn are the skysolo fic & how fools
23. least favorite story you’ve ever written - thenaruto fic i wrote & pulled down 8463628 years ago when i was ayoung bean
24. favorite scene you’ve ever written - it’s atie between the skysolo scene the night ben was born and ginhijiscene in how fools when gin is helping with the move and bumps intotoshi. these scenes are nothing special but they never fail to get me all tingly
25. favorite line you’ve ever written - this is way toooverindulgent for me, i can’t pick one, sorry
26. story you’re most proud of - the zombieapocalypse AU. i don’t think i’ll ever be able to top that, eventhe super emotional skysolo au doesn’t hold a candle to it imo. ihave two other chapters outlined for it but i don’t think i’llever be able to write like that again. i’m so proud of it but atthe same time it’s a Struggle ??
27. best review you ever got - whenever people saythey’ve been following my stories for years i always shed tears. it’s unbelievable. it makes me incredibly happy and i never forgetthose
28. worst review you ever got - probably the one i gotin a knb fic that said they didn’t understand a thing that wasgoing on and how weird & pointless it was, i dont remember itword for word but it was bad enough that i pulled the fic down andnever touched it again lol
29. favorite story/poem of another author - everyskysolo fic by cara_loup is absolutely stunning and immersive, shedeserves an actual Nobel
30. hardest part of writing - translating, finding theright words for the right moment, managing your adjective count, editing, editing, editing
31. easiest part of writing - dialogue
37. canon or AU? - depends on a million differentfactors tbh. as a reader I’m pretty faithful to canon, when i startto get into a fandom/ship i always look for canon stuff first. myinterest in AUs only comes later and it’s really hard to find goodones too. even as a writer i start by writing canon-universe stories.i only ever step into AUs when i’m comfortable enough with thesource material
this was probably a lot more than you expected mack, but i wasbored and really needed something to take the edge off work. thanksfor the ask <333
