collecting signs of an oasis reunion from noel’s side and high up there is noel adding stand by me to his set in march 2024 while liam is touring with john squire. it was the first time he had sung it since the oasis split. in the entire touring history of nghfb all the oasis songs he played that was one he never touched. and then he kept playing it through the summer til the last show.

so with frank’s post this is the third one about japan — I feel like it could be just for fun or it could mean something will happen in japan. personally, with their history of cryptic posting, I’m guessing the later, especially since they keep on talking about the japan show as if it’s close.

Since they’re all doing very good as solo artists, having album/tour coming up, what if they announce their reunion and their album in 2019, and then a tour in 2020, on the their tenth anniversary? Wouldn’t that be epic?

so Niall has recorded his whole album (x), but remember in that letter to fans that he sent out before Christmas, he said he was pulling a disappearing act in early 2017 to get back into the writing zone (x) 👀 

anyway, I’m just saying, maybe he’s getting back into the writing zone and coming up with song ideas for One Direction’s next album.

has anyone talked about noel gallagher’s summer 2023 playlist???

theres an awful lot of we should get together type songs on this that definitely sound like valid reunion clues in retrospect. but none more than the first track:

let’s get together over a glass of champagne

see that noel story about oasis’s rider as a bottle of champagne and him and liam racing backstage to drink it before the rest of the band finished i am the walrus.

clapton’s easy now: do you think it inspired council skies’ easy now? title aside it seems like a case of opposites. i gotta say i prefer noel’s this one’s depressing but noel’s flies.

two songs from shack’s 1999 album when they toured with oasis. their drummer just died in 2022.

the saints’ im stranded A++ but of course i’m thinking about it as a complement to stranded on the wrong beach
