After last Friday’s okay 10 mile run after work, Saturday felt like I was coming down with something like a cold or maybe the flu - fatigue, sore throat, congestion, the usual symptoms. Might’ve been a culmination of a busy workweek and an increase in training in the previous week. With the national cross country meet coming up in a week, took the weekend off from running and mostly rested to rev up the immune system. It seems to have worked, felt better today even after another busy day at the store, and went for an easy 10 mile run around the neighborhood. The light rain wasn’t welcome, but I felt good afterwards. Whew. Time for bed.
