It’s so insane to me how KOTOR mentions how incredibly close Revan and Malak were in the past and then proceeds to do absolutely nothing with it

It really is just. He was your best friend since childhood. You’ve known him your whole life. He deeply believed in the ideals of the Order but when you went against the counsil's whishes he was the first to follow you (he went to war for you!!) and then you both begin to change for the worse- but even when it’s finally time to declare yourself Lord of the Sith he's still there with you!

And then in-game he proceeds to be comically evil and you have one (1) short conversation with him right as he dies
