Ok neat, all my old Tumblr ReVanced patches seem to still be mostly working on the latest Tumblr version (41.3). They are also releasing CPU-Independent versions again, so I can run Tumblr on my emulator. Tumblr ReVanced development might be back on the table!

Right now, ReVanced still doesnt support Split APKs (.apkm) which Tumblr is distributed as, but you can convert these to normal .apk with AntiSplit-M (android app)

So the new steps to get Tumblr ReVanced are:

Download the tumblr apkm from Apkmirror

Download and install AntiSplit-M

Convert the tumblr apkm to an apk with AntiSplit-M

Download and install ReVanced manager

Let ReVanced manager patch the Tumblr apk and install it! (May need to uninstall regular Tumblr first)

Blaze-Sponsored posts don't seem to be properly blocked, I'll try to fix that soon eventually.

"isn't Google gonna kill side loading?" I mean. they're trying. they just want to make it harder for people who don't know. but if you're here. you're DESPERATE and WILLING to learn something.

when you open the app, it might be empty. don't worry! go into your settings and go into downloaders.

click this until something shows up. patches will also appear

Revanced will do all the hard work for you. go back to the home page and scroll "apps that can be patched" until you find Tumblr" (or, it might already show). click "Select APK Source" and click APKMirror. It should send you to the page. patches will be applied automatically, but I recommend looking through what you want and don't want

what app version do I recommend?

uhhh... this one. it doesn't have the likes and reblogs in separate sections. this is what my app looks like

after installing the APK, you should go through the patching process. remember to delete the original Tumblr app before installing!!!!

i am trying SO HARD to get the old tumblr layout back I've installed FOUR (4) different versions and they're either:

1. too old to connect to servers

or

2. STILL HAVE THE FUCK ASS LAYOUT CHANGE!!!!

I've written a guide on our forum for my friends who aren't the most tech literate, on how to keep an up to date ReVanced Tumblr application. This gives you some nifty features, like a faster app experience (anecdotal)

Feel free to ask me for support directly on tumblr. Do not ask me for a pre-patched apk. Look up base64. Don't download random files off the internet.

not sure if it's been brought to everyone's attention here, but Spotify is currently suspending accounts found to be using modded APKs. if you haven't already been suspended, I suggest deleting the APK for now.

you can create a backup Spotify and transfer your playlists with Exportify on GitHub. be sure to have your current playlists on public so you can still access them if you get banned. I've also seen others transferring everything over to YTMusic or Apple Music. I just bought a DAP/MP3 player to download everything on there since I don't really want to support any music streaming service right now.

I highly recommend using ReVanced to get rid of YouTube ads. Made my viewing experience so much better.
