Ep15: Then we have the soup scene
And we’re back from our unintentional summer vacation! While Jenn went west and met up with @byronicwoman (and got to touch fondle the red sweater!), Justin produced Sharkespeare: The Water Ballet, and Amy held down the house and adjusted to life with a doggo.
When we last got together it was the 4th of July, which led to some patriotic musings or, more accurately, rants about capitalism ruining, “Everything Hobbity and true and good in the world“, to quote Jenn. In the middle of our discussion we talk about Relevés, and the trainwreck that is bearing down on the end of the season. And at the other end of the episode, we gush about GLOW, which we both loved and highly recommend. So, warning, the episode is book ended with some non-Hannibal content.
We were happy to highlight the @fannibalsresist project, even more so in light of this pasts weekend’s events in Charlottesville. Keep an eye out for future actions! They say:
Fannibals are everywhere. We’re full of creativity and drive and, hey, pretty good at campaigning. But the things that we can do for the real world are wildly different depending on what state, what county, what town we live in. I’m hoping to a space where people who want to participate, who might already know one another through our awesome Fannibal Family, can connect and cheer on our people to get those things done.
And with the small optimistic steps towards Hannibal S4, we’re looking forward to wrapping up Season 1 in our next few episodes. At this rate, we may finish up with existing material just in time to start covering fresh new material!
