This is mostly based off of the Reverse!Norman, Rev!Pines and this drawing/Rev!Coraline... I was doodling Rev!Mystery Kids last night and I started thinking about how to incorporate Coraline and kinda get them all together as well as giving them an enemy to fight against [c'mon. I FEED ON CONFLICT AND ANGST]
I wanna add Raz but I don't really get his personallity since I never played the game :(
We already got the back story for Rev!Norman for the most part. After Aggie wakes up and destroys the town [with Norman watching, of course] the world puts it off as a tragic incident caused by a storm but the government keeps it hush-hush that not only were there no known survivors but there was no human remains. Like the entire population just vanished. Of course there are the superstitious lot and conspiracy theorists but nobody believes them. Not even the ghosts were spared. Now that Norman has taken his revenge he's not really sure what to do. He decides to wonder around since there's really nothing else tying him to Blithe Hallow.
After being chased out of several towns and cities he decides that there's really no 'good people' out there. Even the ghosts he sees don't like Norman. He's not dead but not exactly alive and, being ghosts and stuck in a sort of loop, this throws them off. Norman starts off with small towns, farming communities and such so as not to draw attention. It's been suggested that after Norman's near death experience he gains some sort of power or it at least gets stronger. After a few towns he notices he's gotten even stronger and, for some reason, the ghosts of some of the people he's killed follow him. He's not sure why and it nearly drives him even more insane until he discovers he can control them.
And then Coraline comes in. Coraline, seeing no other option, agrees to let the Belledam [sp?] sew buttons on her eyes in exchange for the safety of her parents. After one is already sewn on the cat comes with her parents, who ironically made a similar agreement with the Belledam. [She usually goes after kids since they have more 'life' to feed on but I figure 'life' ages like fine wine. shhh, just go with it] Out of anger Coraline kills the Belledam, somehow inheriting her powers. Unfortunately in the process she accidentally absorbs some of her parents 'life' and they are destroyed. Distraught she recreates a similar world with both an other!Mother and an other!Father as well as an other!Wybie. However she manages to keep one of the button eyes from both her mother and father as well as the other!Wybie that helped her before. She sows them onto her satchel in remembrance The cat is worried but makes frequent visits out of some sort of sense of duty.
After a while the world Coraline has created isn't enough for her and she leaves. She still has to feed so frequently lures children and adults into her world, starting with the residents from the Pink Palace. Wybie appears and is horrified at what Caroline has done, but manages to escape with the cat. The cat convinces Wybie that he can help Coraline by finding her missing eye, which she has hidden. So Wybie and the cat follow her as she goes from town to town, collecting the buttons of her victims and storing them on her satchel. She's haunted also by the ghosts of her victims.
Eventually Norman and Coraline meet up, both feeding off of the same town. After an EPIC BATTLE they realize they're not too different. With Norman able to control both ghosts and Coraline able to summon them due to her keeping the buttons they team up.
In the same town but after the other two leave Wybie comes across a blonde girl who just happens to be Norman's sister, Courtney who survived due to her grandmother's ghost sacrificing herself. Courtney and Wybie discuss their situations and eventually team up.
But then there's the Gleeful twins!! It's been suggested [sorry, I don't remember where the post is D:] that Grunkle Stan would be more of a kinder person and see it as his responsibility to protect the magical items that the twins wish to possess. After finally getting the better of Gideon Pines, Pacifica and Stan they make off with the items and leave behind Gravity Falls. Stan, being older, needs time to heal and Pacifica and Gideon stay to take care of him. They two lose their fighting spirit as they failed and other people got hurt because of it, but Stan kicks them around [metaphorically of course] and they leave to find the Gleeful Twins.
After stealing the items the twins left Gravity Falls, bored and greedy for more magical items. Through their various connections they hear of a string of towns where people have either died or gone missing and decide that a magical item must be the cause. Instead they find Coraline and Norman. They make a deal and the four are a team with the twins providing transport, a bit of strategy and, of course, choosing the important stops. However they have ulterior motives but, for now, they use Coraline and Norman for their own ends. At least until they're no longer needed.
Stan, Pacifica and Gideon eventually find the Gleeful twins trail but after a few stolen items they notice a significant increase in causalities Concerned they attempt to find out the group's next hit. On the road they come across Wybie and Courtney. Her father's car has broken down and, knowing very little about mechanics despite her father's attempts, she and Wybie get a ride to the nearest town. Eventually somebody lets something slip and after a few awkward comments and a great amount of suspicion the two groups share their stories.
Agreeing to team up, but only so long as their rivals are together they set off into the sunset to find and stop Coraline, Norman and the Gleeful twins.
IDK. This is just how I think it would work. Because... I over think things and need a story in order for me to remain sane.
