Reversed Ghost AU

Cairn's head is visible in the sunlight when everything else about Ghost is see through

Ghost goes to the moon with Phos and Aechmea tries to coax Cairn through Ghost with the promise of freeing Cairn's head from the confines of Ghost, and Cairn's inclusions respond to that (despite Cairn not actually being 'there')

Ghost is a lot more... creepy and ghost-like, they often repeat certain phrases and sentiments that Cairn once said themself

That being said their voice is dual-toned, with their main voice deeper and if you listen closely, theres an echo to them that sounds a lot like Cairn's voice

In this AU, Ghost is transmasc

Ghost is still self-sacrificial, but is very protective of their arm that still has Cairn's arm

True Cairn AU

She loses her arm and is still insecure about it, but is more vocal about the problems it causes

Cairn still travels to the moon with Phos, on their on volition now

She still gets into moon fashion

Very dismissive of whatever the fuck Aechmea has going on, but she tags along with his shenanigans because she's bored and curious

She never officially gets with Phos, they moreso have a vague situationship

During the 10k years she wears a pendant with a drawing of Phos that Ghost drew for her (she never truly got over Phos)

She does in fact marry Aechmea but she also performs Lunarian's first Divorce:tm:

She still becomes besties with Shinsha and Antarc, and reminisces about Phos with them

right, so, i was thinking about ghost MC but i couldn't come up with anything. ghost MC has the same personality of pretending nothing is that wrong and they don't have any circumstances to force them to do anything another way than original MC does (granted, they probably are a bit more chaotic/annoying to deal with because it's harder to kill them but my point still stands).

so i give you reverse ghost MC: who is very much tangible. they can slam doors, blow out a candle, and drag you underneath the stairs. but it is near impossible to see them- you gotta do more than squint today, baby. i suppose for this, to keeping in the death theme, you have to be dying or going to die in the next hour or so to see them?

exorcisms and everything related to that are still the same, but it's hard to kill something you can't see. because of this, reverse ghost MC's time loop anomaly is not a focus, or maybe even the foundation doesn't even know because it never shows up?

my focus for reverse ghost MC is communication. assuming MC still has interest in sticking around the foundation's sites, because they have a lot of options here, they communicate through radios or recordings. while they can brush shoulders with any researcher in the halls, for some reason, they can't directly talk to anyone that isn't dying (i will leave that reason to anyone who pays attention to this to make up because i have no idea why they wouldn't be able to talk tbh).

this MC is mostly 'mysterious ghost appears in random containment breach, literally recontains half of the rouge scps, haunts foundation site and talks through our radios!' concept because i am confident in my writing skills but i am terrible about making characters OOC and it pisses me off so much and it doesn't help reverse ghost MC is literally being forced to much different situations than original MC here, haha. if you want more you'll have to think about it yourself or hope you can somehow heavily inspire me.

uhh, because i wrote this and the regular ghost MC thing and it is very long, i wish to become -& anon so it's easier to organize? i guess?

anyway, that's my input for halloween eve. halloween will be celebrated by my feedback for next time.

Reverse ghost MC sounds interesting. Trying to interview MC is just like getting a ouija board and hoping it works. MC (in general) has a perchance for jokes. Maybe they’ll nudge the planchette a little just to tell them to just listen to the radio because it’s easier.

Ocasionally, they drop classified info over the radio by accident.

anyway have reverse ghost au zorzi who used to be a prinplup/ empoleon but that was before gen 7 came out so primarina it is /SHOT

moves are sparkling aria, disarming voice, sing and captivate

i cant decide if hes a singer or an actor or if he does a bit of both-- maybe enjoys doing stage stuff when hes not working on a movie or smth? :la either way hes pretty famous but still secretly gets involved in shady things and is the smoothest talker ever and v good at manipulating people LIKE ALWAYS and i cant think of any fancy clothes for him so hm
