I really don't like murder tv shows, although I did appreciate David and Stanley's amazing acting skills in inside man. But can I just say that all the full length camera shots of David's tall and very slim physique in that outfit along with all of the shots of David's very cute butt were so delightful. The camera team treated us well.
Oh, yes. Yes, they did treat us well, Anon.
I just finished watching the last episode of Inside Man, and boy, do I have a LOT of thoughts. I won’t give anything away here, though, and will wait to go into detail in my review post (which I hope to write soon). But I would just like to say that, having never watched anything written by Steven Moffat before, I was left with the overwhelming urge to slap him with a rainbow trout. Is this a normal response to Moffat’s writing? I DON’T KNOW. But I will explore it in greater depth in my review.
Leaving my Moffat-induced rage aside...the one thing (if any) that I am grateful for in Inside Man was how the camera repeatedly and emphatically captured David’s beauty. It reminded me of the filmed version of Hamlet he was in, where every outfit and angle seemed design to highlight David’s body:
But, as much of a steaming hot mess as Inside Man was on several different levels, I thank the Lord above that David was wearing those jeans and that we got to look at this vision of gorgeousness the whole time:
(I have to give a special shout-out to David in an apron, because WHY does he always end up in an apron in his shows and look so cute wearing one. He looks like an adorable gay house husband and I couldn’t help imagine him cutting up vegetables and cooking for Michael, who just sits there watching him fondly. Aww...)
Anyway, yes...more thoughts on the show and David’s role in it to come in my full Inside Man review post. Stay tuned...
