“make the impossible possible”
finally finishing off some history notes ✨
3.27.2018 | I finished Perelandra last night and found myself just blindly staring across the room still holding it for a good number of minutes. Then I read the preface to That Hideous Strength, a little letter from Jack written Christmas Eve of ‘43, and just felt too at home to move forward. Now I’m nestled up in bed with a cup of blueberry coffee ready to catapult back into Elwin Ransom’s life one last time.
Also going on today: violin lesson in a few hours then Bible study on John 15 later tonight with my mother-in-law. I hope everyone is having a calm and comforting Tuesday!
psa url changed!
hey everyone, now that i’ve graduated from high school, i changed my url from memoirs-of-a-high-school-student to listenas-she-whispers! i’ll still be a studyblr since i’m off to college later this year, but i’ll also be reblogging other things like lifestyle, poetry, etc :) ngl i’ve grown attached to my old one since i’ve had it for three years now (!!!) but like life, things change and nothing lasts forever. hopefully this url lasts even longer than my last one, super excited to continue my journey through academia and life with you guys <3
Hello Studyblr! ///201800323 School is now unofficially over for me!! Now its time to buckle down amd study for my external exams. My mock exams were absolutely awful☺, but its main purpose is to be a wake up call to how utterly unprepared we are, and trust me, POINT MADE.
hot tip: set specific goals for your new year’s resolutions! you don’t have to take on enormous, ambiguous resolutions. you can also set short-term goals: what you’ll accomplish before july, in the month of january, this week! reaching your overarching goals takes time and it’s a good idea to map out the checkpoints along the way. good luck in 2018!
honestly, biology is so interesting and i’m looking forward to learning more. chemistry on the other hand…
Throwback to Friday morning when my desk was still clean. 🌸 (Btw, If you wanna know how I edit my studyblr photos I made a short little tutorial on it here.)
